GIVE KIDS THE WORLD

NNN associates have volunteered at Give Kids the World village in Kissimmee in a wide variety of roles including serving food, guiding children on horseback rides, transporting families and administering a variety of games and other special programs. NNN also sponsors a GKTW villa during the holiday season. Give Kids the World is a non-profit organization that exists only to fulfill the wishes of all children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from around the world to experience a memorable, joyful, cost-free visit to the Central Florida attractions. More than 100,000 children have had their dream come true at Give Kids the World.

HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM

In 2005, National Retail Properties began an annual summer internship program to encourage business excellence among local Orlando high school magnet students. Two students are selected from a pool of candidates and spend eight weeks alternating between departments in our company. The program provides an opportunity to experience first-hand the day-to-day activity of a variety of job functions and helps to inspire an interest in them for their own career development.

SALVATION ARMY

Each year, NNN employees collect new clothing and toys for dozens of families who need assistance during the holiday season. Along with providing toys and clothing, many associates also contribute one company-sponsored day by volunteering at the local Salvation Army headquarters to help set up the Toy Shop.
