Senior Accountant, Financial Analysis & Forecasting
Location: Orlando, FL

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for maintaining quarterly and annual budget/forecasting models for Senior Management. In addition, is responsible for assisting with tenant’s property level financial reporting for Senior Management.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and update forecasting models in detail and summary to accurately reflect the Company’s business
  • Maintain and update forecasting models in detail and summary to accurately reflect the Company’s business
  • Prepare annual and quarterly budgets, including Detailed P&L, Balance Sheet, Liquidity and Key Ratios, for Senior Management
  • Prepare and review budget versus actual variance explanation on a monthly basis
  • Assist Senior Management with projections on a continuous basis, including projected debt covenants
  • Assist with tenant’s property level financial reporting. Including data abstraction, analysis and reporting to senior management
  • Prepare external reporting packages for third parties, including rating agencies and analysts
  • Assist in preparing SEC quarterly and annual reporting requirements, including Schedule III
  • Able to work 40-45 hours per week with additional hours for peak work periods such as quarter end, year-end, and during other projects
  • Assist with special projects, as needed

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Fifth year college or university program certificate; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Above average knowledge/innovative use of software technology, including Microsoft Excel. Experience with multidimensional OLAP Cube structure, such as Applix/IBM/TM1 is a plus. CPA preferred.
